The heart behind it
Inspired by
Momma Frida.
Created for
all of us.
With love, Sarah
Hi, I’m Sarah.

A caregiver,
figuring it out alongside you.

Caring for my mom, Frida, through glioblastoma has shown me how much families are asked to learn while someone they love is sick.

I’m a school psychologist, a daughter, and a caregiver. I know what it’s like to love someone deeply while still needing help yourself.

My faith is part of what carries me. Caregiving Together is a space for practical resources, honest stories, and connection, whatever your background or caregiving journey.

I’m still navigating this, too. We shouldn’t have to do it alone.

A few things you might be wondering

You don’t need the right words.

Is this only for people caring for someone with cancer?

No. This community welcomes caregivers across diagnoses, ages, relationships, and care needs. Some linked programs have specific eligibility requirements; the organizations can explain who they serve.

Can I book a professional through this site?

Not yet. This first version connects you to established external services. Contact them directly about appointments, fees, eligibility, and qualifications. Individual professional listings and booking are not currently offered.

What will I receive for $5?

The full 26-page Caregiving Companion as a digital PDF, with 121 fillable fields, printable worksheets, and bookmarks. It includes appointment and refill tools, a backup care packet, support prompts, and reflections. Read four sample pages in the free preview before choosing.

Is it useful if I have been caregiving for years?

Yes—the companion includes tools for changing routines, sharing care, keeping track of expenses, and planning backup support. Friends and relatives can use the practical-help prompts, too. You can use individual pages whenever they fit your situation.

How do I fill in and save the PDF?

Download the file, open it in a compatible PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, and save a new copy after entering information. Phone and browser support varies. You can print blank worksheets and write by hand. Store completed copies privately and share only with your care circle.

Is the companion professional advice?

The companion and free checklist share lived experience and organization tools. They have not received independent clinical, legal, or benefits review. Your care team, benefits counselor, or attorney can help with individual decisions.

Where is my checklist saved?

Only the checked boxes are saved locally in this browser, when storage is available. They do not sync across devices. Use “Reset checklist” to clear them. This site has no accounts or private messaging.

How can I help someone who is caregiving?

Offer one specific task you can reliably do: drop off a meal, run an errand, or help organize appointment questions. Ask what would actually be useful and respect their answer.
